I’m a passionate, fast paced, always evolving twenty something who is based in Houston, TX. I also happen to be a Human Resources professional. I created this blog because I’m frequently asked questions about everything from the certification process to navigating through various HR roles by former classmates, LinkedIn connections, coworkers, and friends looking to start their career in HR.

I received my BS in Human Resource Development in 2014 from the University of Houston. I continued my education by obtaining my SHRM-CP in 2016 and an Employment Law certification from the Center for Legal Studies in 2018. I’ve had the opportunity to work in the manufacturing, oilfield, and chemical industries in progressive HR roles working with a variety of client groups.
